Arcos 309/309L is generally used for welding similar alloys in wrought and cast form. This wire is also utilized to weld Type 304 and similar base metals, where severe corrosion conditions exist, as well as in dissimilar welds for joining 304 to carbon steel or the clad side of 304 clad steels.
